How Poultry Cutting Machines Work

Poultry raised on chicken farms are sent to slaughterhouses for processing to utilize their meat. In these centers, poultry are cut and processed using automatic chicken cutting machines, thus completing the cutting stage, which is an important step in meat production.

Feather Plucking Machines

Chicken cutting machines are used in slaughterhouses to prevent poultry from experiencing stress and to complete the cutting process quickly and efficiently. These machines, which have an automatic operating principle, ensure that the animals suffer less pain and that the process is carried out rapidly. Since this is the most crucial stage of poultry meat production, it is important for the process to be in accordance with procedure. As any adverse events during cutting can negatively affect the meat quality, attention should be paid to using machines with special designs, automatic operation, and accurate cutting function at this stage. The second stage in poultry processing is scalding and feather plucking. Animals whose blood has been drained are then transferred to scalding machines, also known as feather wetting machines. The purpose of feather wetting is to facilitate the plucking process. Following this stage, also known as scalding, poultry are passed through automatic feather plucking machines, where their feathers are quickly removed, and they are then sent to the carcass deboning section.
